Hello.
I’m Karen Crye, Founder of Acme Digital Marketing and now Acme Online Academy. Welcome!
I’m a single-mom entrepreneur. I started freelancing as a web designer out of desperation to provide for my family. I had recently left an abusive marriage and couldn’t leave my home because I needed to be there to protect my kids. I taught myself everything there was to know about building websites, SEO, and digital marketing. I had NO money, so I had to DIY everything.
It took A LOT of time. I made a LOT of mistakes and wasted a ton of money along the way. But eventually I made it.
About Acme Online Academy
Starting your business can be overwhelming, especially if you’re DIYing it. There is so much to learn and only so much time. And if you’re like most entrepreneurs, you’re using your own money to fund everything, so every penny counts.
I get it. I really do. I launched Acme Digital Marketing with NO money and only a few clients. It was tough.
I’m now in a position where I have a team and I’m able to charge a good sum of money for my services. That’s the goal, right?
The problem is, as a member of many entrepreneur groups, I see countless people struggle as new entrepreneurs. Where do you start? How do you learn how to do things? Why isn’t there an affordable solution?
Of course, they can do what I did and learn by trial and error, but do they have to? What if there was a place to learn all things digital marketing without having to sort through all the “hype” and get real advice, real instructions on how to build your online presence? And what if it didn’t cost a small fortune?
That’s why I launched Acme Online Academy. For entrepreneurs who want to learn how to build a successful business and stand out online.
I’m still learning, because the world of digital marketing is always changing, but now when I learn something new, I’ll share it with all of you.
It’s my goal to post as much free information as possible in our Resources section. Some of the links I provide will be affiliate links. Rest assured, I will never recommend anything I don’t personally use just to make a buck, but if you are interested in something I share, using the affiliate link I provide helps me keep my prices as low as possible on the courses offered.
